Vishal Veeru Devgan, born Vishal Veeru Devgan, is a renowned Indian actor, director, and film producer mainly active in Bollywood. Famed as one of Bollywood's leading actors, he has featured in over 100 films and received numerous awards, such as four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honor. Devgn stepped into Bollywood with the romantic-action film *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a blockbuster that catapulted him to fame. He subsequently featured in popular action films such as *Jigar* (1992), *Suhaag* (1994), *Vijaypath* (1994), and romantic blockbusters like *Ishq* (1997) and *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* (1999). His critically acclaimed performance in *Zakhm* (1998) earned him a prestigious National Award.
